The state of Virginia requires that Teachers in Child Care receive 16 contact (training) hours per year. In addition to these hours, our teachers are working on endorsements and CDA’s(Childhood Development Associate Credential) and receive up to 30 contact hours each year that are chosen to enhance their strengths and address weaknesses. We feel that if one continues receiving training and knowledge regarding their position, that individual has more confidence and pride in their position, therefore, the quality of our center is strengthened.
